YES, CHEF! | We are seeking an experienced Website Quality Assurance Manager to be responsible for optimizing the user experience and performance of HexClad’s global websites . You will be responsible for developing and overseeing testing strategies that will ensure the delivery, responsiveness, and reliability of high-quality, user-friendly, and functional web experiences across all platforms and devices.  This role requires a strong understanding of QA methodologies, testing tools, and web technologies, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills. The ideal candidate has a strong background in UX/UI testing, web analytics, and user testing methodologies.

Reporting to | Head of Website

TASTE SUCCESS | As our Website Quality Assurance Manager you’ll be responsible for ensuring the reliability and performances of website updates driven by functionality improvements, CRO tests, and growth/marketing initiatives. 

  • Develop and implement QA strategies: Create comprehensive test plans, test cases, and testing procedures for all website projects, including new features, enhancements, and bug fixes.
  • Execute/Oversee all testing activities: Lead all testing efforts, including functional testing, usability testing, performance testing, cross-browser/cross-device testing, and accessibility testing.
  • Identify and report bugs: Accurately document and track defects using bug tracking systems. Communicate effectively with developers to ensure timely resolution of issues.
  • Develop, lead and mentor the QA team: Manage, mentor, and train a team of QA testers, providing guidance and support to ensure effective testing practices. This includes performance management, task delegation, and professional development.
  • Utilize testing tools and technologies: Identify, implement, and utilize appropriate testing tools. Stay up-to-date with the latest testing technologies and methodologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with developers, designers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Analyze test results and provide reports: Generate comprehensive test reports, including key metrics and analysis, to communicate the status of testing efforts and identify areas for improvement.
  • Champion quality assurance: Promote a culture of quality within the organization and advocate for best practices in web testing.
  • Best Practices & Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest web testing methodologies and UX/UI trends.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in website quality assurance including a combination of functionality testing, performance testing, and security testing within an eCommerce or DTC brand.
  • Strong understanding of user behavior, conversion funnels, and eCommerce best practices.
  • Extensive experience with various testing tools and technologies.
  • Strong understanding of QA methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience working with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to implement and troubleshoot site experiments.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-device testing.
  • Ability to interpret data, generate insights, and communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tests and projects simultaneously.
  • A problem-solver with a data-driven mindset and passion for improving the online shopping experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
  • Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry are a plus.
