TASTE SUCCESS | As our Senior Financial Analyst you’ll support financial planning, forecasting, and performance analysis, providing data-driven insights to optimize budgets and improve business decisions. You’ll get to collaborate across departments to analyze key metrics, develop financial models, and enhance reporting processes. - Financial Planning & Forecasting: Assist in developing financial models and rolling forecasts to support strategic decision-making.
- Budgeting: Help drive the annual budgeting process. Deliver department and regional budget reporting along with insightful analysis and support.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze revenue, expenses, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to provide insights on financial trends and business opportunities.
- Reporting & Dashboards: Prepare monthly financial reports, including BvAs, dashboards to track business performance and other ad hoc reports as needed.
- Cost & Margin Optimization: Identify areas to improve profitability, control costs, and enhance operational efficiency.
- Scenario Modeling & Business Cases: Support strategic initiatives by building financial models to assess the impact of business decisions. Develop financial models and diagnostic tools to identify trends, interpret results, and optimize financial processes.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with sales, marketing, supply chain, and operations teams to ensure financial alignment and support key initiatives.
- Data Integrity & Process Improvement: Enhance financial processes, ensure data accuracy, and implement automation for reporting efficiencies.
- Ad Hoc Analysis & Special Projects: Conduct deep dives on financial and operational data to support executive decision-making.
Requirements
- 3–5 years of experience in financial planning & analysis (FP&A), corporate finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in CPG or related industry, preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP) and FP&A platforms (e.g. Mosaic, Pigment).
- Strong business acumen and the ability to communicate financial insights to non-financial stakeholders.
- Highly detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Admin, Accounting or related field
- Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry are a plus.
