TASTE SUCCESS | As our Procurement + Contracts Manager, you’ll lead procurement strategy and contracts management to secure high-quality goods and services while driving cost efficiencies. You’ll collaborate with vendors, internal teams, and the CFO to streamline procurement processes, ensure compliance, and mitigate risk.
- Procurement Strategy and Operations: Develop and implement procurement policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize contract terms and costs. Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including vendor selection, contract negotiations, and purchase order approvals. Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Contracts Management: Draft, review, and negotiate vendor contracts to ensure favorable terms and mitigate risks. Maintain a centralized contract management system to track key milestones, renewals, and compliance requirements. Collaborate with legal and finance teams to ensure contracts comply with regulatory and company standards.
- Vendor and Supplier Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure consistent quality and service levels. Conduct supplier audits and performance evaluations to identify areas for improvement. Resolve disputes or issues with vendors in a timely and professional manner.
- Financial Oversight: Collaborate with the CFO to develop and manage the procurement budget. Monitor spending patterns and implement strategies to control costs without compromising quality. Generate regular procurement and contracts reports for senior leadership.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all procurement activities adhere to company policies, ethical standards, and applicable regulations. Identify and mitigate potential risks in the procurement and contracting process. Stay updated on industry standards and regulatory changes impacting procurement and contracts.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in procurement, contracts management, or a related role, preferably within a fast-paced environment.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in procurement software and contract management systems.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with internal stakeholders and vendors.
- Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement and contracting.
- Strategic thinking with the ability to align procurement activities with organizational goals.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to manage multiple contracts and projects simultaneously.
- Proactive and results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain (e.g., CPSM, CIPS) is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance, or a related field.
- Love of food and cooking! Cooking skills and/or experience in the culinary industry a plus.
